A small change in the air

For the past week or so I've noticed a change in the air when I wake up. It's just the tiniest change right now, but there is something about how it feels when I step outside first thing in the morning that says "Summer is ending, Autumn is just around the corner!" A certain fresh, coolness that wasn't there just a week ago. I love Autumn. Those cool crisp nights and the bright sunshiny days, apple picking, changing leaves, Fall Festivals, pumpkins, sweaters, fresh new notebooks and school starting. What's not to love about all of that? I always get excited when I notice those first tiny signs of Autumn. Every morning is a cause to celebrate that change is coming (even if by mid-afternoon summer is back in full force!)

Today the new Autumn edition of Rhythm of the Home came out! Be sure to check it out, it's brimming full of goodies, beautiful pictures, tutorials, interviews, recipes and so much more!

I'm especially excited to share my little piece for this edition:

This issue marks the completion of the first year for Rhythm of the Home magazine. I have enjoyed each seasonal issue so much, we have tried many new things discovered in its virtual pages.

I hope you enjoy the magazine as much as I do! It's been a great source of inspiration.

  4. Found my way here through this awesome activity in RoH (can't wait to get started with my own little one.) Your blog is beautiful and inspiring, not to mention big fun for me because we apparently live in the same town!

  5. beautifully stated! Just my sentiments exactly about October and fall, to every detail! though I think fall in general is sullied by the thought of the long winter coming on.
